Privacy
Privacy policy.
We collect as little data as possible. Here we explain what we collect, why, and how we use it. Last updated: August 2026.
What data we collect
Purchases
When you buy a building or a street, the payment is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Paddle provides us with the information we need to complete your purchase and deliver the service. This may include your name, email address, transaction identifier, the asset acquired, the transaction amount and the payment status.
We use this information to assign the asset to you, send you your private management link, provide support, keep transaction records and handle any issue related to your purchase.
Paddle processes payment and buyer data in accordance with its own privacy policy and in its capacity as Merchant of Record.
Owner information
When you acquire a building or a street, you can provide a public name, logo, description and website.
The information you choose to display will be publicly visible as part of the asset and its public page.
Your contact email address and your private management information are not displayed publicly.
Communications
If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address and the content of your message.
We use this information to respond to your request and provide support.
Aggregate usage
We may collect anonymous or aggregate information about how Silon Valley is used, such as how many times the details of a building are opened.
This information is used to understand how the product is used and to improve it.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service.
Plausible does not use cookies, does not create persistent identifiers and does not track visitors across different websites. Its analytics system is designed to measure the use of a website without identifying visitors individually.
We may use Plausible to understand general behaviour within the product, such as which buildings are viewed, which districts are explored, or whether search is used.
We do not send Plausible your email address, your name or your private management information.
Why we process your data
We process personal data only where there is a legal basis for doing so.
Depending on the circumstances, we may process your data:

- On the basis of our legitimate interest, including operating, protecting, maintaining and improving Silon Valley, preventing abuse, and protecting our service and its users.
- With your consent, where the law requires it.
We do not use your personal data for purposes that are incompatible with those described in this policy.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Information related to transactions and purchases may need to be kept for longer periods where required by accounting, tax, legal or other applicable obligations.
If you own an asset, we may keep the information associated with that ownership for as long as it is necessary to maintain the asset, provide management access, resolve any disputes and keep the corresponding transaction records.
When personal data is no longer necessary, we will delete or anonymise it where reasonably possible.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share personal data with service providers that process it on our behalf where necessary to operate Silon Valley. These may include:

- Our database and storage providers.
- Resend, for sending transactional email.
- Plausible Analytics, for privacy-friendly web analytics.

International transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.
Where this happens, we will take appropriate measures to ensure that personal data is protected in accordance with applicable data protection law, including adequacy decisions or appropriate contractual safeguards where necessary.
