FAQ

Questions, answered.

The short version: it's a city, and its buildings and streets can be yours.

What is Silon Valley?

Silon Valley is an explorable 3D city made of virtual buildings and streets. Every building has a number, a district and a price, and each one can belong to a person or a company.

What is a building?

A building is a permanent address inside Silon Valley: a position, a shape, a number and a name.

Acquired buildings display their owner's logo on the facade or rooftop and get their own public page.

What happens when I buy one?

Your building shows your name and logo in the 3D city for everyone to see, appears in the city's timeline, and gets a public page linking to your website.

Right after the purchase, you receive a private management link by email where you can set your name, logo and website.

No account. No password.

Can I buy a street?

Yes. Streets, avenues and the ring road can be acquired.

When you own a street, your logo is displayed on the road every few metres along the whole segment.

Avenues are the city's most visible addresses.

How do I pay?

Checkout is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes the payment, calculates and collects applicable taxes, and provides the customer's invoice.

Available payment methods depend on the customer's country, currency and device, and may include cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and local payment methods.

Prices are shown in US dollars.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final. Your building or street goes live the moment the payment completes, so the service is delivered in full immediately. Before checkout you explicitly agree to immediate delivery and waive any right of withdrawal or refund. The only exceptions are on our side: if we cannot deliver what you paid for (for example the asset was sold to someone else in the meantime, or you were charged twice) Paddle refunds you in full, automatically.

Can I put my logo on it?

Yes. That's the point.

Owners can provide a logo, which is displayed on the facade or rooftop depending on the building. Logos must be yours to use and may be moderated if they violate our terms.

Can I rent a building?

Renting is planned for short periods, from one hour to seven days. Rental prices may already be shown as an indication, but rentals are not available yet.

Can I resell a building?

Not yet.

There is currently no resale, transfer or marketplace in Silon Valley. If that changes, it will be announced and governed by updated terms.

Is this real estate?

No.

Buildings and streets are digital features inside Silon Valley. They are not land, real estate, securities, tokens or any form of real-world asset.

What if someone buys the same building at the same time?

A building is temporarily held for you while your checkout is in progress.

If two purchases somehow collide and we cannot complete both, the later purchase will be refunded and you will be notified.

Is this blockchain or NFTs?

No.

Silon Valley uses ordinary web infrastructure. There are no tokens, wallets or smart contracts.
